Well we are finally getting into the next stage of our journey. Around Australia for however long it takes, we won’t be able to completely retire so we will pick up whatever work is available where ever we are. We have many skills that we feel sure someone will want to utilise and pay us for.
Sorry we had to wait so long to publish this part but we had to be a little bit careful as Maggie was still working and you never know who may have read this site. All that has been resolved and she will be leaving work at the end of Feb 2006.
We have purchased a Ford F250 and are currently investigating the purchase of a fifth wheel caravan and hope to take delivery in the new year.
Below are photos of our F250, I have already fitted a reversing camera, stereo with a 6.5" screen, ipod adaptor, rear beeper, towbar, CB radio (AM & UHF). Still need to get bullbar, driving lights, nice side steps, fifth wheel hitch, I think thats about it.
We will keep the website going during our adventures so we can keep in touch with everybody, need to think about communications while travelling but I am sure we aren’t the first to do this so a bit more research is necessary.
