This is a great city, so pretty and all the people are so nice. Need to be careful there are many places that are inhabited by English tourists.
We booked the hotel on the internet and fell on our feet again, it is in the old city, walking distance to everything. Great hotel but as we are finding, staying in the city centres is great but it can get a bit noisey at nght times with all the night owl tourists. Narrow streets and loud tourists can mean not to much sleep, but we are surviving.
Prague is a city we would both come back to, the architecture is terrific as you can see from the photos and it is quite inexpensive to live in, the hotel is normal european costs but the food (and beer) are very cheap provided you stay away from the tourist areas. We had a meal on sunday that cost 520 Krowns (approx. $20) we also had a coffee in the main square later that night which cost 250 Krowns ($10), big difference for the sake of 5 minutes walk.
Maggie will add more to this later I am sure, she’s having an afternoon nap at the moment. shhhhhhhhhhh!
Have I mentioned that I have worn out a pair of sandals with all the walking we are doing!
